As of March 2018, you must have OEM060730RN0000 software to utilize Satellite GS.
When waiting for the GS beam being sent to the receiver, make sure that the machine and GPS receiver are both on and the receiver is tracking in order to receive the broadcast.
If the receiver has a USB port, it is capable of GS.
2. Update GPS Software
Phoenix 300 software updates are available in the Documentation & Software section of the Raven Customer Portal.
The Phoenix 300 must have Front Panel version 3.02.006 or higher and the GPS firmware must be OEM060730RN0000 or higher in order to work with the TerraStar (GS) signal.
3. Gather Required Information for Unlock Key
The information found in the video below will be needed to purchase an unlock key for GS corrections.
Note:
The PAC stands for Product Activation Code.
4. Enter the Unlock Key into the Receiver
When connecting serially, use Raven Loader to connect to the Phoenix 300 (same process as performing an update - refer to the setup instructions included in the serial update download). After a successful connection, perform the following:
Select Tools from the top menu bar.
Select Authorization from the list.
Enter the code exactly as it appears.
Select the Send button.
When updating via USB, the process is the same as performing a GPS engine update. Refer to the instructions included in the USB update download.
5. Configure Receiver for GS
Navigate to the "Correction Mode" screen.
From the Home screen, press the arrow that points to the right until it displays the "CorrectionConfig" screen.
Press the down arrow to get to the "Correction Mode:" screen.
Press the arrow that points to the left. The correction mode will now flash on the bottom of the screen.
Use the up and down arrows to navigate through the selection list.
Satellite GS
Set to GS-Satellite, then press the arrow that points to the left. It will stop flashing.
Press the up arrow, then press the arrow that points to the right. It should display "GS Config."
Press the down arrow until "GS Beam" is displayed. Set it to Auto or choose from one of the following region identities:

6. Purchase a GS Subscription
Subscriptions for Satellite GS are available in the Raven Customer Portal. You can purchase the subscription for the amount of time that suits your needs. You will need to register for an account before purchasing a new Satellite GS subscription.
Important:
It can take between 5 to 30 minutes for the order to process. After the order processes, the GS beam will be sent to the receiver. Make sure that the machine and GPS receiver are both on in order to receive the broadcast.
7. Verify GS Is Working
G will displayin the top left corner of the Home screen. GS (for Satellite GS) will display in the top right corner of the Home screen.
The number in the top right will count. If it is stuck at 99 (in seconds), it has not yet converged or has not received a GPS message update in quite some time.
Set the Satellite to Auto or choose from the following region identities:

8. Verify GS Is Working

Viper 4
1. Verify Receiver Hardware Is Capable of GS
Quick ID:
All Viper 4 field computers that have internal GPS are capable of GS.
2. Update GPS Software

As of March 2018, you must have OEM060730RN0000 software to utilize Satellite GS. 600S software can be downloaded from the Documentation & Software section of the Raven Customer Portal. Update instructions will be included with the software download package.
The current supported method for configuring and unlocking features on the 600S is using the Viper 4 and the Envizio Pro.

The process for unlocking and using GS corrections is the same as the steps for the internal GPS receiver on the Viper 4 and Envizio Pro.*

Viper 4 and Envizio Pro units without internal GPS receivers will treat the 600S as though it is internal. This is why the process is the same as for an internal GPS receiver.
The main difference for the 600S is that the Main GPS Solution must be set to 600S on DGPS instead of Integrated/Internal.
RS1
1. Update GPS Software
As of March 2018, you must have OEM060730RN0000 software to utilize Satellite GS. This version is included with the RS1 1.1.0.145 software package.
If updating the RS1 through the Viper 4, RS1 software can be downloaded from the Documentation & Software section of the Raven Customer Portal.
2. Gather Required Information for Unlock Key

Have the drop-down lists set to RS1 for the first and GPS Receiver for the second. You will need the following information from this screen before purchasing a GS unlock:
